Bath Luve Review & Giveaway

Daddy D has always been big on the baby bathing in our house. I remember years ago he developed a method of placing a wet washcloth that had been in warm water on top of our second son in the bathtub in order to keep him cozy while bathing him. To this day he still does it with Eli.

But when I saw the Bath Luve I was excited to try the product! It is the same concept, with some upgrades. You place it in warm water and then place it on your bathing infant. We tried out the Duck version, but there are also a Frog and Fish versions. They also make a Bath Luve Buddy, an absorbent companion character that can help replenish the warm water on the Bath Luve when in use. I think that is a great idea! But even without the Buddy, it was easy enough to just resoak the Bath Luve for a second or two and put it back onto baby. The Bath Luve is 100% cotton, and very soft to the touch. Not at all rough or scratchy!


As we all know, this is a house of boyz. And as boyz come with their own unique "plumbing", I have learned over the years that often a bath for a son comes with a shower all its own. The Bath Luve covers that private area so I no longer have to worry about getting sprinkled.

I also enjoy the way it leaves the arms and legs free for splashing as he often likes to do. It also can be turned around in a cape-like fashion to cover the back when baby is sitting up. Eli still likes to bathe in the infant bathtub. I think the vastness of the larger tub scares him. So often after his bath we let him stay in the bathtub while Nathan bathes in the regular tub with him. The Bath Luve kept him warm and playing with his boats with his brother for quite awhile!

Daddy D's really liked how well it stayed on him in either position we used it. As he is the connoisseur of bathing products, I asked him and he highly recommends it.
