Layers Clothing Review & Giveaway!

Layers Clothing is a clothing label that stared in 2005 that offers a great line of woman's clothing options. They have great pieces ranging from bathing suits to dresses to pieces to layer underneath other garments. They wanted to offer a line of clothing to women that was both fashionable and affordable.

I especially love that the founder and designer, Michelle Boley, followed her heart and beliefs and designs clothing that is intentionally modest. I love her quote that appeared in an interview with her on the companies blog. She said "Modest styling is the most timeless and trend-proof. As a conservative designer, it can be discouraging that the word "modesty" often has a negative connotation as it relates to fashion. I think a modestly dressed woman gives off an aura of allure and confidence. She has style and self-assuredness, while having nothing to prove." I whole-heartedly agree!

Here are some of my favorite pieces from their current line!

I really love the vibrant print and colorings of the Brittany shirt.
I also like the feminine detailing in the ruffles of the Juliette shirt.
This Farrah bathing suit is vibrant, again with great detailing and prints.

Layers Clothing sent me the Riley shirt to review. It has a great scoop neck and is form fitting. A great basic shirt, the addition of the small ties at the base of the cap sleeves is a great detailing. I received it in white, but if I had it to do over again I would choose the flamingo color it comes in as I find the white a little to transparent for my taste. The color would cover a little better I believe. Overall I love the shirt, the simple yet trendy styling really appeals to my taste. The price is reasonable and it is a great addition to my wardrobe.

I like Whitney in Heather gray. It's simple and classic. It would go great with a skirt I have. And I like that it has more of a v neck then a scooped neck To elongate the shorter among us.

Hello, I really really like the Basics classic lace top im not sure if I like it better in black or white though but I will cross that bridge if I ever get there. My email is missgeneva27@hotmail.com I do like most of them on that sight though so if I ever get money again I may decide to order from that site. I also really enjoy the idea of modest clothing, personally I wear things that are somewhat big or loose fitting because I like for people to like me for my intellect or personality plus being 5'11'' I get enough looks and stairs to last me.

I think I may have a new favorite web site to shop for me. I love, LOVE the wide strap cami and will be ordering one in every color. How does it fit? Do they run small/large?

I am a fan of the Marcella bathing suit, it is so colorful and vibrant and conceals things I really don't want to show. I also really liked the Brittany and the Lulu shirts.

I like the wide strap cami. It looks comfy and the straps look wide enough to wear a supportive bra. :)
