Shoprite Savings 7/13

I know it is Friday now, but I wanted to take a moment to tell you about my shopping this week! I have gotten out of the habit of posting the great coupon/sales combinations I get at my local Shoprite at the beginning of the week. Mostly because between the kids being home from school for the summer, the different weeks of summer camp and the new addition of my little niece things here have been a bit nuts!

But rest assured I am doing my best to keep my families food budget under control. I am proud to report that I got $205.66 worth of groceries this week for a whopping $80.21! How amazing is that! Part of the savings was from working with my stores promotions, they had a two week period that if you bought $120 worth of General Mills, Unilever & Kraft products you earned up to $40 off of your next shopping trip. I did spend a lot of time checking the sales, combining with coupons I had and purposely buying those products--but the payoff in cashing in $35 off of this order was well worth it!

Some of my great deals from this week are:

-McCormack Grinders were on sale for 99 cents, combined with my $1 off coupons from May I got two of them for FREE!

-Pop Secret Popcorn was on sale for $1 a box. I combined the sale price with $1 off of 2 boxes coupons from June. I bought 6 boxes for a grand total of $3.

-Viva Paper Towels were on sale for $2 a roll. 85 cents off coupons were in the end of June paper, double it was $1.70 off a roll. I got three rolls at 30 cents a piece.

-Zattarans Rice Mixes were on sale for $1 a box. I had a coupon for $1 off of 2. So I got to boxes of Rice for 50 cents total.

There were many, many more awesome deals. I did my best to take advantage of as many of the great deals as possible and maximize my hard earned savings!
