For those of you who are from my neck of the woods I wanted to share this with you. I announced in November that my friend and I had ventured into a new project. One that would take a lot of time and a lot of organizing. We are diligently working to open a Children's Museum in our hometown. I wanted to take a moment to update you on our newest development.
The Catskill Mountain Children's Museum has opened the doors to it's new website. The museum project which hopes to open it's real doors in a few years is providing visitors some information on what a Children's Museum is and how people can volunteer & donate. You can also take a survey or just join their e-mail list.
The museum is a joint project between the Catskill Mountain Children's Museum and the Liberty Community Development Corporation. It aims "to create an educational, unique, and FUN environment that will provide hands-on exhibits and programs" for children.
