Football Cupcakes with Grass in Buttercream

For Nathan's fourth birthday he wanted football!  So for the small family party we did I made football cupcakes.  They had chocolate icing footballs piped on and then spread evenly with a spatula.  Then the remainder of the cupcake surface was covered with green grass using the Wilton tip for that.  Finally I piped on the seems and two stripes on each football with a #3 tip.  Very simple and Nate was very happy!
