Happy Fourth Birthday Nathan!

On Monday Nathan turned four. As we were vacationing, and ended up traveling home unexpectedly that night, it was not necessarily the most traditional of birthdays.

Nevertheless, over the weekend we celebrated with the Massachusetts side of the family with Carvel ice cream cake in the shape of one of Nate the Great's favorite things-the football.

Then tonight we celebrated with the New Yorkers. Funfetti cupcakes with footballs in green grass on top.
I am happy to close the Nathan Birthday Festivities, because if you've been keeping track it has been a week and a half of scattered birthday parties, gift openings and well wishes. But the fun while it lasted complete with big "cheeeeese" grins and excited present openings was enjoyable. Eli thought so too...
