Mirra Beauty Products Review & Giveaway

A few weeks ago I was chosen to be a part of a Mirra beauty products review and giveaway sponsored by Kroger company, where they are available.

What is Mirra? It is a health and beauty care brand by Kroger for what they refer to as "family-focused women seeking effortless beauty". The Mirra brand uses quality natural ingredients to renew and rejuvenate.



I received a package of 6 full size Mirra products to try out and review. I tested them for the last two weeks before writing this review. I received items from the body care line. The products I had in my package were the Replenishing Body Wash, Exfoliating & Detoxifying Cleanser, Replenishing Lotion, Wrinkle Reduction Eye Cream, Deep-Moisture Day Cream, and the Hydrating Night Cream. Whew! That's a lot of stuff!

Let me break it down quickly. The thing I like best is the light scent. Each product has a different overall scent, attributed to the actual ingredients. But there is no heavy perfume and they don't clash overall. It makes me feel feminine without making me feel like I can't use my regular fragrance.

I like the Replenishing Body Wash with bamboo and honey extracts. It is light, not heavy and washes away easily. It doesn't create as many bubbles and foam with my mesh sponge as what I am used to with my other washes, so I think that I do tend to use more of it. I followed that with the Replenishing Lotion, also with bamboo and honey extracts, after my shower. It is a light moisturizer. Almost runny. But after it is applied and absorbed it leaves my skin soft and silky. It did take some getting used to.

I really liked the Exfoliating & Detoxifying Cleanser for my face. It features apricot and oxygenated derma-beads. I really liked this. It lightly exfoliates and leaves my face feeling clean. I like that it doesn't have an excess of the exfoliating product in the cleanser. Sometime the heavy apricot in some other products leaves my skin feeling stripped and raw. This was a nice balance and great for every day.

By far, my favorite products were the face creams. In my early thirties I am just starting to see the wrinkles lightly forming around my eyes. I like the wrinkle reduction eye cream. It is applied day and night and I feel that is giving attention to the thinner skin around my eyes.

I love both the Deep-Moisture Day Cream and Hydrating Night Cream. I have always had problem skin, and am very sensitive to the products used on my face. After the full two weeks of testing these, I truly would use these every day for a very long time. I had no breakouts whatsoever, which is a miracle in and of itself. I find my skin seemingly more balanced and hydrated, making my foundation noticeably smoother and consistent when applied. This is my honest experience with these. Your results, of course, may vary.
