BlogHer 10!

Today I am headed into New York City for four days.  Sans kids or Daddy D.  All on my lonesome.  This is the first time that I have left my whole family for and extended period of time.  I am nervous, anxious, and truth be told a little scared. 

Part of it is because I am leaving my five men.  But mostly because of where I am headed.  BlogHer '10.  If you are a regular reader here you have read about me going for several months now.  But you may not know entirely what it is that I am going to.

BlogHer '10 is the biggest convention for women bloggers.  It is a collection of some of the most amazing women writers in one place.  It is also where tons and tons of brands are going to connect with bloggers like me.  Two huge halls worth. Plus, all of those influential bloggers in one place has drawn a crowd of other brands who are hosting private brand parties.  

I am so excited to be attending.  I am ecstatic to have been invited to about a dozen private party events.  Some I had to turn down, as one can only be in so many places at one time.  Others I find surreal that I am going to.  

The opportunity to attend the convention is amazing.  The other stuff is just adding to the fabulousness of the weekend.  After months of planning, today I leave.  In less than an hour I head out with my full suitcase and my pile of tickets.  By early afternoon I will be entirely immersed in all things BlogHer.
