Cell Phone Accessory Shopping at Verizon Wireless

This past weekend I stopped in the Verizon Wireless store at my local mall.  I love the convenience of it's placement.  I am often having to make a trek to the mall for sporting gear for the boyz, something to help the house renovations along or a present for yet another kiddos birthday party.  To be able to stop right in while I am in the vicinity anyway makes it easy.

I have a Motorola Droid phone.  It is just under a year old, so they no longer carry that model.  I didn't find any nifty cases or the gps docking stations that fit my model.  But they did have a couple of universal charging products.

First I looked at this one.

I love how the charging cord hooks right into it.  I also enjoyed the pop of color and the $39.99 price point.

But right next to the Droid Accessories section I saw this display for the Accessory of the Month.  Unfortunately there was no price listed, but my sales representative quickly found the item and told me the price.  It retails for $49.99.

She said it had a good discount, being the Accessory of the Month, but wasn't sure how much.  I liked how it could charge both my phone and my iPod, so I was sold.

The discount was actually 25% off, which meant it cost me $37.49.  It was cheaper than the other model I looked at and had more functionality!

I use my phone a lot between being on the go with all four boyz and blogging, emailing and a little bit of Angry Birds.  I love that I can bring this with me and charge up my phone whenever my battery gets low.

And my iPod loves it too!
