Kitchen Updates Progress

We have finished week one of February, and although February is the downstairs bathroom month we are still concentrating on the kitchen.  We did, however, come up with a plan for the updates to the bathroom.  We went to the home improvement store and looked at the medicine cabinets, took pictures and then compared with the measurements of the existing one at home.  So now we know what we are getting.  We still have to choose a new vanity light and shelves.

But back to the kitchen.  This week I got around to photographing the completed tile (minus some caulking).  I love it.  Really love it!

Next up is adding the under cabinet lighting!

Also, I was pleasantly surprised that the cabinet knobs we had been waiting on came in a whole two weeks early!  So here they are:

I like how they reflect the same design elements and lines of the handles without being too matchy matchy.

What else have we been working on?  We took the pantry door off, stripped it down to the bare wood and have begun repainting it.  With a bit of a surprise inside:
